We’re considering how any planned tooth movement fits with your overall facial profile.”

Dr Lavrin tells his patients, “It depends on what movements are being made in the treatment. If the treatment involves jaw surgery with the clear aligners then absolutely the profile can be changed. If there are small tooth movements to be made with the clear aligner treatment then this will have a negligible effect on the soft tissue profile.”
Do Clear Aligners Move Your Jaw or Just Your Teeth?
