What inspired you to start your treatment with clear aligners?
When I was a teenager, I had braces and afterwards I wasn’t really happy with how it looked. As I got older, I realized that, aligners became more popular and an easier treatment option So I looked into it, and then I was really excited to go through that process. My teeth were very narrow and, and I really wanted to broaden and widen them, to have more of a symmetrical smile. And so far, I can see that process happening.
How was your daily life changed since you started using aligners?
A lot of things have changed. I’m more happy to smile, I can show my teeth. And I think even just, being able to look in the mirror and feel confident. It’s really interesting because usually when you have braces or, you kind of feel a bit ashamed but the aligners feel really comfortable and really just makes me feel confident.

The experience so far has been really amazing, I felt quite welcomed and the team is quite funny, and such a good vibe. It really matches to who I am as a person. So, I really love coming in every time.

What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about clear aligners before they start treatment?
I have had a lot of people ask me if clear aligners are painful. And I have no pain at all, that’s the best part of it. Because of my past experience I was concerned about not being able to achieve my smile goals, but the team showed me in my consultation how my smile would transform from start to finish and that was really exciting visually to see what the process of that is and I was able to trust the process.
I always bring questions to each appointment, and sometimes I worry about asking too many. But what I really appreciated about the team was how attentively they listened to every concern, no matter how big or small. It was reassuring to know they were always there to address any questions or concerns I had.
