In your first appointment, you’ll be greeted by our patient consultant who will take you through exactly how the Urban Smile process works, take photos and a digital 3D scan of your teeth. You’ll then meet our AHPRA registered oral health therapist, who will assess your teeth and bite to confirm they are healthy before we straighten them, checking to see if you require dental work. All your records will then be sent to our local specialist orthodontists to be assessed and create your customised treatment plan.

Urban Smile clear aligners are a series of invisible, removable, plastic aligners that gently move your teeth each week. We use advanced technology and purposely apply discrete attachments to your teeth that allow the aligners to grip your teeth for accurate tooth movement.

22 hours per day, and changing to a new aligner weekly. Depending on the movement your teeth require, treatment can take approximately 6-24 months.

We provide you with a set of retainers and teeth whitening so your teeth stay perfect. Our oral health therapist will inform you on how long to wear your retainers. Generally, you will wear your retainers every night for 12 months, with the amount of retainer wear reducing in the long term to a few nights per week.

Yes! We can provide interest-free plans up to 24 months for eligible patients. We have plans to suit every budget with minimum deposits so that financing is never a barrier to getting a beautiful smile.

Yes, if you have general dental extras and haven’t exceeded your limit you may be able to claim back a portion of your treatment cost. Before your first appointment, we encourage you to contact your health insurance provider to understand your entitlements. You can quote item number 825 x2 (upper and lower arches) for clear aligner treatment.
